Starting SYI
People have asked me why I started the Say Yes Institute, and how I got the name, and why I decided to do this. There are so many reasons, but the main reasons are:
-I wanted to know what would happen if people focused on what was right, instead of what was wrong. There is immense power in the positive- and although that seems logical, not everyone moves through life with that foundation.
-I wanted to see what would happen if people understood that they had choices, and they were responsible for those choices.
-I wanted to understand how people were motivated to learn, and grow while fully owning their purpose and passion.
-I wanted to let other people know that focusing on the positive, while not always easy, IS always better. For you and for everyone in your world.
-I wanted to challenge my own beliefs about myself and what was possible.
-I wanted to live in a way that reflected my belief that we don’t know how long we are here- so while we ARE here, doesn’t it make sense to spend time doing what you love and what you believe matters?
There are a lot more reasons, but I think you get the idea.
SYI was created to help others think about the things that I needed to be reminded of as well…
