More About the DCI© Model
How can you get what you want, if you haven’t yet defined it? Too many people are moving through their days, or their lives, and they have not taken the time to slow down enough to own what they want, and equally important, don’t want, in their worlds. The DCI Model© supports participants to assess their hopes, dreams and expectations, as well as own clarity around their investment in reaching the goals. The steps help participants to develop a comprehensive, logical, achievable and powerful plan of implementation which includes clear goals, timelines, plans of accountability and tools to assess progress and validate successes. Define: The first step focuses on the “what.”- What is important to you?
- What are your specific, measurable goals?
- What is of value to you about that goal?
- What does your goal look like when you have reached it?
- Why do you want to reach your goal?
- Why is it important to you?
- Why are you invested in achieving the goal?
- Why is this goal a priority for you?
- Why would reaching this goal be of value to you?
- How will you implement your plan to achieve your goal?
- How does your timeline look for reaching this goal?
- How will you know you have achieved your goal?
- How will you address any barriers, challenges or obstacles?
- How/to whom will you be accountable?
