07 Mar Powerful Beyond Measure.
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that frightens us…
And as we let our light shine,
we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.”
She thought that doing what she wanted was selfish, because you’re not “supposed to” focus on you.
She thought it was wrong to set limits, or say no, because she was “supposed to” be taking care of others.
She thought that she was “supposed to” give of herself, and that was the way she could show her love.
Those are the words that limit us,
distract us, and detract from us.
What if living your life,
and being all that you are,
is your purpose?
What if you are here to be you,
in order to inspire others to be who they are?
When you don’t do what you’re “supposed to do,”
you give others permission
to not do what they are “supposed to do” either.
Suddenly everyone is able to be more of who they are…
and the impact of that is beyond comprehension!
