It’s something everyone wants, but so many can’t seem to find…
They can’t find it, even though they are looking in all of the places where it might be hiding..
in books,
in workshops,
in expensive vacations,
in new clothes…
Happiness is not a thing we can buy, or a place we can go.
~
Everyone wants it, and feels entitled to it,
but so many don’t feel like they have it,
so they are seeking it.
It’s not out there.

You will never find it at a mall,
or on a tropical island.
It’s in you.
It always has been, and always will be.
Nobody wants to believe that it could be that close…
or that easy.

If happiness isn’t a thing,
and it isn’t a place,
then what is it?
~
All that really matters is,
what does it mean to you?
Not your brother, or your boss, or your best friend…
What does it mean to you?
~
Spend some time thinking about how you define happiness.
You might be pleasantly surprised to find,
that in so many ways,
you already have it.
